I have no interest and even less desire to bringing us “closer as human beings” when that closeness is based on my feeling objectified, or feeling like my bodily presence is the stimulus to white anxiety, guilt, etc. No interest and no desire, especially when my raising it as an issue means that I am the one to be accused with overreaction.
